This is a musuem quality reporduction of a WWI Pilot Overseas Hat Wing Sterling w gold plate letters. Not many of these were made as they were not permitted iin the states.
Hallmarked Sterling and Halton with letters US gold plated 1 1/2 inches wide. Halton was a welll known maker of insignia at that time.
