WWI Dallas US Pilot Wings BB&B Sterlin
One of the most sort after wings of WWI is the Dallas Wings manufactured by BB&B of Phila, PA. They do not come from Dallas. The name Dallas wings is based on a US Patent No. 1,282,471 dated Oct 22,1918 by Clare L. Seamans and Edward C. Heiligman of Dallas Tx. This is a museum quality reproduction in sterling silver with the US letters 24k gold plate. The wings are attached to a brass plate and wool felt is properly placed between the wings and the plate and then hand sewn. This reproduction is totally handmade as were the oiginals and according to this design patent.
