WW II Jewish Chaplain Paratrooper Wing Sterling
This is a museum quality reproduction of a rare World War II Jewish Chaplain Paratrooper Badge. The original of this badge was made in sterling and the Star of David was 14k gold with a pin back. This reproduction is sterling but the star is a 24 karat gold plate. This badge is a very nice filler until a real one can be found or if you are a reenactor this is the perfect answer. One note this type of badge was almost never worn into combat the Jewish Chaplains would borrow one form their Christian brothers. After all being captured by the Nazi with a Star of David on the badge would have mean certain death.
